| On airport parking is either run by the airport authority themseleves or by an independent contractor. The car park is actually located within the airport perimeter and shuttle busses run regularly to ferry you between the airport terminal and the car park. |

Off airport parking is normally run by independent contractors. Located outside of the airport perimeter, you drive your vehicle to their designated meeting point, then either catch a shuttle bus to the terminal or get chauffeured there in your own vehicle.

The maximum stay in a long term car park is usually unlimited, you should also benefit from a cheaper per-day price when compared to short term parking. Some companies offer weekend deals which are ideal for weekend travellers and provide you with better rates than you would get if you just booked the two days seperately.

Short term parking is best to use when picking up or setting down at the airport. The rates are usually charged per-hour on the first day, as opposed to long-term which is normally charged at a daily rate. There is not usually a time limit on the amount of days you can spend in a short-term car park, however the price per day can be much more than using a long-term airport parking facility.
